We would like to welcome all our new children and families throughout the nursery not forgetting the return of some families with their new additions! We have some exciting news that Lisa has had a baby girl called Paige and Jess has had baby boy congratulations to both families. For those of our family’s who do not know Lizzie Butcher is expecting her second baby, and Natasha Read –Stevenson will be leaving to go on her maternity leave on the 6th December we wish them both well. Daniella Bristow will be returning to work at the end of November after her maternity leave; she will be doing some back to work days in the next few weeks in pre-school. It’s that time of year again where the coughs and colds return, can I just remind parents that we are not allowed to give Ibuprofen based products, unless they have
been prescribed. Calpol or Paracetamol products can only be given for a maximum of
three days without a prescription. Before any medication can be given parents must fill
out a medication form, without this written consent we are unable to give your child
medication. For incubation periods for childhood sickness we follow the health
protection agency Guidance on Infection Control in Schools and other Child Care
Settings.
