Pantanal (south) at San Francisco Farm
04 DAYS / 03 NIGHTS

Duration:
Guests arriving in the morning of DAY 1 and departing in the
afternoon of DAY 4;
Guest & Package Profile: This is a great option for discovering Brazilian richest region in terms of fauna
and flora: the Pantanal. It is a package suitable for nature lovers who also want comfort.
Covering an area of approximately 143,000 square miles, the Pantanal is the largest floodplain in the
Americas. The area is unique in the world. Savannah lowlands, floodplains and forests are influenced by the
Amazon Forest and the scrublands of “Caatinga”, creating a vast mixture of ecosystems. The balance of
these ecosystems depends entirely on the water cycles of wet and dry seasons in the region.
Everything in the Pantanal reminds the guests of the presence of animals: sounds, traces, and movements.
Alligators, wood ibis, cougars, snakebirds, hawks, deer, herons, howling monkeys and countless insects add
color and sound to the ecosystem of the Pantanal.

When to go: All the year round. Dry season occurs between June and December (easier to see birds and
animals during the whole season). Flood season occurs between Jan and May. Hottest months are Dec to
Feb. The farm doesn't work with Low Season and High Season tariffs (single price for the year).
